Atech has joined up with Vinci Facilities to create a garden right in the heart of the place Vendôme, Paris’ most famous square.

Both plant and mineral materials are mixed here thanks to the use of zinc curbs. The zinc offers many advantages: it is easily maintained, resistant to corrosion, water-tight and long-lasting with an infinite life-cycle thanks to being endlessly recyclable. Plus, its greyish-blue colour gives it a unique aesthetic.
However, due to the fineness of the material, zinc was not sufficiently resistant for the needs of this project. Atech thus decided to combine the aesthetics of zinc with galvanised steel, fixing zinc panels to the steel components.

The client, Gecina Group, had a vision to include water in the space, and so Atech rose to the challenge by constructing a water feature. For Atech it’s a challenge successfully met and more experience under their belt!
