Signage on the Lima metro
Señalización Girod Pérou, was awarded the contract for upgrading the signage used on the Lima metro
Following the project to extend the Lima metro by 5 stations, our Peruvian subsidiary Señalización Girod were awarded the contract for upgrading the signs used on the Lima metro.
The most commonly used stations on Line 1 will be redesigned in order to make travelling more comfortable and fluid for passengers. Work on the Villa El Salvador, Culture, Gamarra, Miguel Grau and Bayovar stations began in August 2016 and is set to be completed by the end of 2018.
Señalización Girod are currently manufacturing the new panels at their factory. These will then be fitted on-site by the works teams.
